The name Ethea Foods comes from the region of Aethaia in Messinia, a particularly fertile area in the wider region of Messinia. The wider region of Aethaea and Thouria has a rich history dating back to 2500-2000 BC with references from Homer and Pausanias.
Aethaia means “ethereal“, light and pleasant.
With this inspiration, the founders of the company highlight the philosophy of the company which is to produce and offer pure products of Greek nature to Greece and the world.
Our vision is to create a food company by investing in branded brands that add value to the company’s product portfolio and nutrition for the modern consumer.
